    The students will get in depth knowledge of Automotive products, tools & fixture design, manufacturing processes, quality control, various assembly processes, 3D concept, 2D detailing, dimensioning, material selections etc.

    4. What software skills are you teaching and how well are these tools used in the industry?

    I will be teaching how to design BIW-Fixtures using CATIA V5. Also, how to prepare BOM, process chart, validation sheets etc using MS-Office tools. Though, CATIA V5 is being used majorly in various Automotive industries, there are many other designing software like UG-NX, Solid works, FIDES etc that are being used. My teaching will help student to work with any software he/she is comfortable with.

    In Automotive sector, these tools & techniques are must for various production process of different automobile parts & assemblies, to achieve quality & demand.
