G+1 residential floor plan according to vaastu shastra:
Important structural drawings for the project:
Load calculation:
- All columns are 300mm x 300mm
- All beams are 300mm x 450mm
- Slab thickness if 125mm
- The height of the wall is 4.5m
-Unit weight of RCC= 25KN/m^3
Calculation:
Dead load:
Dead load of all columns= 0.30 x0.30 x25 x4.5
=10.125 KN
Dead load of all beams= 0.30 x 0.45 x25
=3.375 KN/m
Dead load of slab= 0.125 x 25
=3.125KN/m^2
Dead load of wall:
Unit weight of brick masonry=20 KN/m^3
Thickness of the exterior wall= 0.23m
Thickness of the interior wall= 0.150m
Dead load of exterior wall= 4.5 x 0.23 X 20
=20.7KN/m
Dead load of interior wall= 4.5 x 0.15 x 20
=13.5 KN/m
Live load is taken as per IS 875-1987 (PART 2)
So as per the above table the live load is 2.0KN/m^2
As the height of the building is below 10m the wind load calculation is not necessory.
